Hi everyone! So, I'm back after what seems like forever..sorry about that! However, today I have something new and exciting: a food review! This is the first one in a series I want to start. This dish is from Noodles & Company and is their Japanese Pan Noodles. I wanted to try this due to the rave from another Youtuber I watch. This is their desciription of it; it's pretty accurate:
Caramelized udon noodles in a sweet soy sauce, broccoli, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, Asian sprouts, black sesame and cilantro
V | 310/620 calTry with marinated steak + 170 cal
I got mine to go (hence the car picture) in the small size. I ordered mine with the marinated steak strips. They were sooo tender and juicy, also! They also had plenty of flavor. The sauté had an overall traditional flavor: sweet and somewhat spicy (very mild). I could taste a hint of pepper, too. As for the udon, they were not too chewy and not too firm-perfect. The broccoli was close to raw-I'm guessing it was blanched. It was not my cup of tea, but the dish in general was well put together. I did not eat the sprouts, as they were mostly for garnish. The other vegetables were mediocre, I'm NOT a mushroom fan at all! So I cannot give my input on them, although they were soft. This was not bad as it was only the second dish I have tried from Noodles. I have noticed a trend however, they do not serve their food piping hot, it's just barely warm, so be mindful of that.
I give the Japanese Pan Noodles an 8/10.
